The Japanese company Calsonic Kansei is discussing the possible construction of an automotive component factory with the management of the Ploiesti Industrial Park, where the factory would be located. The investment is estimated at approximately 100 million euros. The project concerns the production of dashboards for cars, and the investment is scheduled to be made in several phases. The company will invest 23 million euros at first, with investments later reaching 75-100 million euros. "The decision to invest depends on the negotiations with the authorities, on the offer made by the Romanian state, and on contracts with customers in Romania," market sources said. Mediafax
