Colina Motors, importer of Brabus, the biggest Mercedes-Benz tuner, sold 15 sports cars on the domestic market in the first half of this year, considering that six cars were delivered overall in 2007. "This year, we expect 30 Brabus units to be sold, considering 15 units were sold in H1, in total worth more than 1.5m euros," Emanuel Raduta, Brabus brand manager with Colina Motors, told ZF. Besides the 15 sold units, a further 5 orders are processed. "Besides the 20 units ordered this year, there are another four Mercedes-Benz models that were personalised by Brabus, at the Bottrop plant, of which two have already been delivered," said Raduta. The best-selling model was S-Klasse, of which 3 units were sold, with prices that range between 148,000 and 167,000 euros, while models G, ML Widestar, GL Widestar and R-Klasse each sold two units.
