Almost 65% of the Fortuna Leasing bond issue, conducted in the September 15-25 period, was subscribed, stated the general manager of the Intercapital Invest brokerage company, Razvan Pasol. He mentioned that investors had acquired 18,150 of the 28,000 bonds issued. The issue only targeted qualified investors, under the rules regulating the activity of non-banking financial institutions. The investment was handled by brokerage company Intercapital Invest Bucharest. The 28,000 bonds initially issued are nominative, convertible, unwarranted, dematerialised and have a nominal value of 100 RON (one million ROL). The interest rate is of 12% for the first coupon, and for the next due date, the interest is variable, recalculated every six months as an average of the interests on the interbank market for six-month credits, plus three percent. If the coupon is not paid within a month from the due date, the issuer must convert its bonds into shares at a ratio of 1/10 of the shares' nominal value, without the issue or conversion premium.
