Bogdan Putinica (29) and Bogdan Daniel (29) have sold the controlling interests in software company IP Devel to Adecco Switzerland, the world leader in human resources solutions. The value of the deal stood at "several million euros" for 76% in the Romanian company, Bogdan Putinica (photo), general manager and co-founder of IP Devel told ZIARUL FINANCIAR. After the signing of the deal Putinica retains 24% in IP Devel. The deal will be announced in a news conference organised by the officials of the two companies today. IP Devel was established by Bogdan Putinica and Bogdan Daniel in 2000. Others to have received stock in the company over the years are Andreea Putinica (Bogdan Putinica's wife), Daniel Turcanu and Liviu Georgescu. "The latter two were our best programmers and we wanted to ensure their loyalty by offering them stock in the company," Putinica explained. He added he would most likely sell his remaining shares in IP Devel over the next 3 to 5 years, depending on the company's performance. Putinica says he will keep his independence when it comes to running the company. "Adecco wants to create an embedded software and testing competency centre in Romania. All their customers on this segment will be turning to us," Putinica stated. Embedded software refers to every piece of software that is not directly related to PCs. IP Devel has 130 employees and posted 1.7 million-euro turnover in 2005. Company officials estimate an increase in turnover to 4 million euros this year.
