After acquiring Pro Life, Hiperdia clinics anticipate 13m euros in revenues

Imagistic centres operator Hiperdia in Brasov, controlled by Bedminster investment fund, expects a 52 million-RON (13 million-euro) turnover this year, a doubling against the 24.3 million RON (6.6 million euro) recorded in 2008. "This year's projection has also considered results of the Pro Life clinics, which we bought last year. As for the 2008 results, they were influenced by the 6-7 million-euro investments we made in acquiring equipment and in opening new clinics," said Tiberiu Roth, general manager of Hiperdia. He says the second half of the year could bring weaker results, because the company has among its clients hospitals with lower funds at their disposal. In 2008, the company recorded a 65% turnover rise. In the first quarter of this year, Hiperdia's business reached 13 million RON (3.1 million euros), 114% more than in 2008. "Due to the difficult economic situation, we will be more prudent when it comes to investments. It is not yet very clear to us (investors i.e.) how things will evolve in terms of recouping our investments," Roth added.
