The company that developed and is operating Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania, will enter the residential segment with a project located close to Bucuresti Mall this year. Anchor already has an office building project underway, entailing investments worth 25 million euros. "We will start building residential centres in the first half of the year. Located in the vicinity of Bucuresti Mall, the new residential centre will include over 500 flats," says Ibrahim Paksoy, the new chief executive of Anchor Grup. The project is estimated at 35 million euros. Paksoy, who had filled the position of financial manager until the beginning of this year, took over the position of chief executive after Ali Ergun Ergen left to work for the developer of the real estate project Baneasa. Its entry onto a real estate segment other than the malls is not a first for Anchor Grup. Last year, the company owned by the Turkish group FIBA started building an office project - Anchor Plaza, located near the commercial centre Plaza Romania. ZF
