Life insurance company Aviva Romania aims to become leader on the market of newly issued policies in the next three years and to rank among the top players on the market of private pensions. "Our goal is to become the company with the fastest growth rate in the sector of newly-issued policies, and the Aviva group is willing to invest significant amounts of money in order to help us achieve our goal," stated Shah Rouf, general manager of Aviva Romania. In order to attain this goal, the company relies on the sales personnel, which totals over 1,100 employees at present. "Romanian consumers are becoming more and more sophisticated, and they need specific financial products, which can cover their needs to a large extent, and this can only be achieved with the help of professionals," explains Rouf. He believes accession to the European Union will bring about a range of new products for the insurance market and the quality of services provided will make a significant difference.
