Baneasa developers and Slovenian group invest 40m euros in entertainment centre

Baneasa Developments, the developer of the retail park in the Baneasa project, the biggest real estate project on the domestic market, will invest around 40 million euros in partnership with a Slovenian company in building an entertainment centre near the Baneasa Shopping City centre. Following this investment, the surface of the shopping centre will increase by 30,000 square metres, to some 95,000 square metres. "At the end of this year, we will start the construction of an entertainment centre near the Baneasa Shopping City centre, in partnership with a Slovenian company specialised in developing such projects," stated Ali Ergun Ergen, retail development manager of Baneasa Investments. The entertainment area will be completed by the end of 2008 and will include among other things a 20-screen cinema, a 40-lane bowling alley, which could host international championships, an area for children with a carousel, one casino and five restaurants.
