Bedminster Capital Management, manager of the Southeast Europe Equity Fund II (SEEF II), has taken over 65% in Brasov-based Hiperdia one of the leading private medical services operators, in a transaction estimated at around 10 million euros. Hiperdia's shares are split between nine investors, each of them with less than 25% stakes. Nir Yosseph and Yariv Gilat are the company's leading shareholders, with a 21.35% stake, according to data from the Trade Registry. "None of the shareholders has sold their entire stake, and the transaction also entailed a capital increase," said Tiberiu Roth, who owns 9.63% in the company. He did not wish to provide further details on the matter. Aurel Tudose, one of the shareholders of Brasov-based Hiperdia, is the former general manager of the drugs producer Sindan, which was taken over in 2006 by the Actavis group. Hiperdia has budgeted a 16.8 million-RON (4.9 million euros) turnover for this year, up 57% against last year. Hiperdia conducted investments worth 6 million euros this year, which included 5.5 million euros in equipment. The sums required for these investments came from the company's own funds, banking credits (15%) and from financial leasing.
