The National Trade Unions Block (BNS) decided at the end of last week, during the National Council meeting that was held at Voineasa, that it would not negotiate the participation in elections of some of its members on the lists of social-democrat parties, but that it would continue discussions with these factions.
During the meeting, a decision draft concerning negotiations with PDSR (Party of Social Democracy) on the participation of trade union members in elections, as well as the electoral support that could be lent to this party were brought under discussion.
Of the 71 Council members that were present, only 48 backed up the decision, as compared to the minimum number of 60 necessary votes, according to Mediafax news agency. ZF
