17.09.2008, 17:02 14

C.H. Beck, a publishing house that specialises in books, as well as in legal and economic titles, forecasts a 2.5 million-euro turnover for this year, up 25% against last year. The company's 2007 profit amounted to 250,000 euros. The publishing house's majority stake is German-held, with just 25% of the shares held by Radu Dimitriu, general manager of C.H. Beck. The publishing house has so far invested over 700,000 euros in an online library dedicated to legal publications, Legalis, which was launched in May. "A very important product is Legalis, the legal software that provides legislation, jurisprudence and doctrine. Until its launch, the investment amounted to over 700,000 euros, and it will increase even more," said Radu Dimitriu.
