British producer Cadbury Schweppes, which last year took over local sweets producer Kandia-Excelent, will appoint Jose Bonito as country director for Romania, who will succeed Sorin Alexandrescu, the former General Manager of the chocolate producer. This change will come into force by the end of May. "The company is currently on a well-outlined trajectory and has established a set of clear objectives, so I think my mission at Kandia Excelent is done," said Sorin Alexandrescu, who supervised the integration of Kandia-Excelent into Cadbury. According to company data, the integration process is underway and is going according to plan. Alexandrescu specified that he had nothing clearly set for the coming period, having received several offers. He wishes to continue to work with private equity companies in order to prepare companies for exit. Jose Bonito, Alexandrescu's successor, is currently based in Budapest, acting as country director for Central Europe at Cadbury, as well as holding managing positions in sales, finance and logistics in several countries such as Portugal, Spain and Hungary, where Cadbury runs operations.
