Cefin Holding Romania, a developer of logistics space and a retailer of commercial vehicles, has changed the estimates for the business of its vehicle division at 250 million euros for this year, almost 90% more than the 130 million-euro figure in 2006. The initial estimate put forward in April, stood at 200 million euros for 2007. "The turnover was revised upwards as a result of the increase in the demand for commercial vehicles, but will have a knock-on effect for other divisions, in particular for servicing hours dealing with manual work and accessories," stated Stefano Albarosa, CEO of Cefin Holding. The importer of Iveco heavy utility vehicles said that in the first half of the year, it would derive approximately 50% of its 250 million-euro estimate. When reassessing its revenues, the company also reassessed the volume of vehicles it expects to sell on the Romanian market, to 3,500 units. Company representatives said at the beginning of the year that the sales forecasts amounted to 2,500-3,000 units. At the end of May, the increase in the demand for commercial vehicles caused the sales target to be modified. In terms of volume, the estimate is of 1,700 units for the first half of the year.
