Law firm Musat & Asociatii (Musat & Partners), one of the largest firms on the local market, has promoted Catalin Baiculescu and Ion Dragne, previously both partners at the firm, to co-managing partners, while another two associates - Delia Topoleanu and Anca Musat - have been promoted to partner positions. The firm now has 11 partners and over 100 lawyers and fee earners, after several recruitments added 16 lawyers to the team last year. "The Musat-Dragne-Baiculescu triangle will be the new core managing committee of the firm. Both myself and Ion Dragne will take over other duties at the firm, besides working directly with clients," said Catalin Baiculescu. Gheorghe Musat, founder of the firm, will continue as a Senior Partner. Baiculescu was appointed to his new position after being with the firm since 1998. He became a partner in 2001 and specialises in mergers & acquisitions and banking & finance.
