Chemicals producer Chimopar Bucuresti will establish two companies that specialise in manufacturing paper-based sanitary products and in PET container recycling. The investments required exceed 10 million euros. The funds will be used to buy equipment, machinery and to build facilities, Chimopar's general manager Vasile Ailinca says. The shareholders will decide if the companies are to operate in facilities built on Chimopar's existing plots, or if new plots need to be bought. The shareholders will discuss the proposals to establish the two new companies on July 8. The first company, specialising in "manufacturing of paper and cardboard-based products for household and sanitary use" will be entirely held by Chimopar. The other one, specialising in recycling PET containers, will be 95% held by Chimopar and 5% by Jafco Holding Romania.
