Drogerie Markt, the local subsidiary of the Austrian cosmetics and FMCG retailer Drogerie Markt (DM) will end the month with 11 stores. The last two are scheduled to open in Armonia and Promenada malls in Braila in the next few days. "The average area of a store ranges from 300 to 350 square metres. We started out with 1,400 German products covering various categories, such as cosmetics, perfumes, hair dye, body care, natural products, food for people with diabetes and baby food, cleaning products and pet food. Now we have expanded our portfolio with around 4,000 products, which have become available in all our stores in Romania," said Milan Radin, general manager of the Drogerie Markt network. Currently, the company has stores in Real Shopping Galleries in Timisoara, Bucharest, Galati, Deva, Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Oradea and Targu Mures.
