Real estate consultancy DTZ Echinox, one of the most active players on the Romanian market, intends to achieve an over 4 million euro turnover by the end of the year, double the level of 2006, when it posted 2.2 million euros. "This year's target is to achieve over 4 million euros. We have several projects in progress that could be finished this year and included 2007 turnover. We intend to expand both regionally and through our range of services," stated Tim Wilkinson, managing director. DTZ currently has 60 employees and three offices in Romania, in Bucharest, Iasi and Sibiu, and has been operating on the domestic market for five years. With the growth of the real estate market, other companies in this business, such as Colliers and Eurisko, have also set out to double their turnover this year. The company's evaluation and investment departments provide the main streams of revenue, but DTZ also has consultants who specialise in retail, office, residential and industrial segments.
