Varnish and paint producer dUaufa Deutek, held by American investment fund Advent International, estimates an approximately 37 million-euro turnover for next year, up by over 25% compared with the value seen this year, amid the development of the residential market and the expansion in the company's product portfolio. dUfa Deutek, which produces and sells decorative paint, varnish and plaster, estimates it will reach a turnover of over 29 million euros by the end of the year, up over 30% against last year. The company has this year conducted investments worth around 5.3 million euros, with the largest investment being attracted for building a warehouse, and plans to invest over 2.5 million euros next year, in expanding production capacities and in developing the infrastructure necessary for digital texturing. Paint used for home painting accounts for the bulk of dufa Deutek's sales, with over 50%, followed by decorative plasterwork, with around 20%. The difference is accounted for by wood and metal paint and tools for applying decorative paint. dUfa Deutek holds a 15% market share on the segment of paint, varnish and decorative plaster, and expects to reach 17% next year, according to company estimates. "In euros, the paint, varnish and decorative plaster market stands at around 180 million euros, in net, producer prices, according to our estimates, up 25% against last year," Gabriel Enache, marketing manager of dufa Deutek, told Mediafax.
