The American group DuPont, present in Romania mainly in the field of agriculture, will enter the construction materials market in 2006, and estimates sales for this sector will account for some 10% of the turnover of DuPont Romania in 2010. "We will also enter the constructions industry as of this year, with an extensive range of materials, designed both for producers and for end users, stated Christian Mauch, representative of DuPont''s Development Department. Last year, the American group opened a subsidiary in Romania due to the increase of its sales on the local market, where the bulk of the revenues came from DuPont''s agricultural division, with products meant to protect the crops and seeds. DuPont Romania posted a turnover worth some 40 million euros last year. ZF
