Emilia Bunea leaves for Amsterdam to manage the finances of ING insurers in the region

Emilia Bunea, general manager of ING Pensii, the biggest privatepension manager domestically, will take over the position of chieffinancial officer with ING Central Europe in April, the unitcoordinating the Dutch group's insurance and pension operations inten countries of the region. Bunea, 41, will leave for Amsterdam,where she will work in the same headquarters as Violeta Ciurel, aformer general manager with ING Asigurari, "exported" to the Dutchcapital city in 2004. Marius Popescu, the current general managerof ING Investment Management, will replace Bunea. "In early April Iwill move to Amsterdam together with my family. Internationalexperience was what I lacked," Bunea, who has been working in thefinancial sector for 13 years, told ZF. She is a certifiedfinancial analyst, which is a major qualification in the financialsector, and will coordinate the finances of ING insurance andprivate pension companies of Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic,Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Greece, Spain and Turkey, withmore than 4,000 employees and 7 million clients.
