Endava Romania, part of British group Endava, a specialisedprovider of IT services and business solutions for financialapplications, telecommunications, media and IT technology,announced it would open a new software centre in Iaşi this autumn,which is set to employ around 100 people by late 2011. Endavarented over 1,200 square metres of office space in the centre ofIaşi, in Palas complex managed by Iulius Group. Endava's clientsinclude IMG Worldwide, Cision, NYSE Euronext, UBS, BancaTransilvania, BancPost, AVIVA, Aegon Life, BRD Fond de Pensii. Thecompany also owns a headquarters in Iaşi currently employing 50people, two centres in Cluj-Napoca employing over 150 softwareengineers and a consultancy unit in Bucharest, with the totalnumber of Endava's employees topping 220 persons. According toEndava's officials, the company's expansion in Romania is mainlyprompted by the launch of new projects with foreign clients.
