Endava hires another 50 people to meet orders from abroad

Endava Romania, part of British group Endava, a provider of ITbusiness services for financial applications, telecommunications,media and IT technology, ended 2009 with turnover worth around 3.8meuros, up over 22% from 2008. The Cluj-based company in 2008generated total sales worth around 3.1m euros (11.29m RON). "Endavagroup has in the past three years registered 79% annual averagegrowth, ending 2008-2009 financial year with turnover worth about23.4m euros and Endava's Romanian operations now bring 16% of thegroup's revenues. We managed to keep our growth pace steady inRomania as we hold a balanced customer portfolio, made up both ofBritish and US companies, as well as Romanian ones, which were notsimultaneously hurt by falling IT budgets as a result of the globalcrisis," Valentin Metzger, Endava Romania CEO, told ZFTransilvania. At present, Endava has 185 employees in Romania, withthe company's management planning to boost the headcount by atleast 30%.
