The residential market and commercial space will be the fastest growing segments this year for real estate company Eurisko, which saw its turnover stand at about 5 million euros last year, general manager Ionut Dumitrescu estimates. "In 2004, we raised our turnover several times, and the retail segment witnessed the highest growth. This year, I think the retail segment will still have a significant weight within our deals, but I anticipate more solid growth on the residential segment. At any rate, I do not think we will be able to reach last year's growth pace," stated Dumitrescu. Last year almost every real estate company in Romania broke records in terms of results, with growth almost double in most cases. The year 2004 was also a time when major investments in real estate projects were started that will be completed in 2005. This year will witness the same effervescence of the real estate market, believes Dumitrescu, since new retailers, as well as those to have recently entered the market are still looking for land. ZF
