Timisoara-based office furniture producer GreenForest, estimates it will post a 4 million-euro turnover this year, a 20% increase in financial indicators against 2006, when it saw sales worth over 3.3 million euros. "The local furniture market has experienced sustained growth recently, a trend which, according to our estimates, will also continue in the next few years, with significant rises being seen for both corporate furniture and for residential furniture. The progression of the corporate furniture market is directly proportional to economic development, and to the expanding real estate sector. We believe the rise in the number of homes will lead to an increase in the demand for residential furniture, but for the time being, office furniture accounts for the biggest share of our sales," Sebastian Capotescu, marketing manager at GreenForest, told ZF Transilvania. In 2006, the company invested in developing its production capacity and in modernising its Bucharest store. This year, the company's investment plans include continuing to expand production capacities and increasing sales.
