Swedish giant H&M (Hennes & Mauritz), the world'sbiggest clothing retailer, has kicked off its recruitment campaignin Romania and posted the first ads for middle-management positionsfor six stores set to open as of March next year on specialisedwebsites.
This is the company's first concrete move after the Swedishgroup's official announcement that it will enter the Romanianmarket and after malls AFI Palace Cotroceni and Băneasa ShoppingCity provided details on the first stores.
Over 850 CVs were posted on BestJobs website alone on Monday and onTuesday, with the most sought after positions being for storemanagers (140 applications), for department manager (138applications) and for the merchandising department (131 CVs).
The company also resorted to several recruitment firms for thiscampaign. "It is a major company, and recruitment ads are quick todraw in candidates. I can safely say they are currently some of themost clicked on jobs, with retail offers being highly attractive,"believes the representative of a recruitment firm.
