Local agencies bring 7% of IMSG's business

Local operations of the communications group International Marketing&Sales Group (IMSG), which last year bought 70% of advertising agency Friends Advertising, will amount to around 7% of the 231 million-dollar (149 million-euro) turnover forecast by the company globally. Romanian operations will also account for 7% of the gross profit, which is forecast to stand at around 82 million dollars (52.9 million euros) this year. This summer, the group, with operations in 20 countries, launched IMS Retail on the local market, a company that provides strategic consulting and offers advice on marketing techniques (how to organise stores), in order to help boost the sales of retail players. "Retail services are a major component in our offer, and we will launch them on the leading markets where we are present," Michael Green, Managing Director of IMSG International Markets explained about the retail company, which is also present in Turkey, Russia, Hungary and the UK.
