ProVision, a Romanian distributor of IT safety solutions and services, with business estimated at 10 million euros this year, is the target of an acquisition which could amount to 8-10 million euros, market sources told ZF. Among the potential buyers are American group Arrow, one of the largest electronics distributors worldwide. Alexandru Andriescu, 38, CEO and sole shareholder of the ProVision group, declined to either confirm or deny the transaction, specifying that he had received several offers, which he was still analysing. "Who hasn't received a takeover offer? It is a natural thing at this stage of development for the IT sector, for market leaders on various segments to be targeted by such proposals. We are considering a few of these offers, but we prefer to regard them as ways of pushing our business's performance beyond what we can achieve on our own," explains Andriescu.
