Farming equipment producer Maschio-Gaspardo, the local branch of the Maschio group in Italy, will invest 2 million euros in building its second production facility, covering 1,800 square metres, located in Chisinau Cris, Arad county. "We want to start construction in the autumn of this year, and, if the weather is favourable, we are hoping to finish it by December," said Mirco Maschio, the company's manager. Maschio Gaspardo posted a 10 million-euro turnover last year, up 60% against 2005, with estimates for 2007 indicating a continued growth. "We cannot give estimates on our turnover for 2007, because the business season for our company starts in September, after the start of the autumn farming season," explained Maschio. The Italian company holds a production area of around 60,000 square metres and employs over 100 people.
