Matizol budgets 9.3m euros for this year

Matizol Ploiesti, a producer of waterproofing products, has budgeted revenues worth some 9.3 million euros, according to company officials. Matizol Ploiesti was taken over by the Swiss group Swisspor in 1997 which acquired a controlling stake. In 1998, the Swiss set up Swisspor Romania in Ploiesti and built the first plant to produce expanded polystyrene, a material used in constructions. Matizol is listed on the RASDAQ, and, according to the latest report, the Employees'' Association, PAS Matizol was dissolved. The current majority stakeholder is now Alpstag Georg with 35.97%, followed by K.S. Holding SA with 16.6%, Michael Winkler, with 14.57%, GB 96 Kft with 5.47% and other shareholders with 27.39%. Matizol produces waterproofing materials for civil and industrial constructions, roads, bridges and viaducts, waterproofing shingles and thermal insulators. ZF
