The best marketing agent for mandatory private pensions (2nd pillar) closed 2,570 contracts, for Allianz-Tiriac, according to information gathered by ZF from the top 10 pension companies. The agent worked in Bucharest and is an experienced insurance consultant for Allianz-Tiriac. According to some estimates, this agent earned over 100,000 euros in the four-month campaign (September 17 2007 - January 17 2008), with an average commission of 40 euros for every contract closed. In fact, another pensions agent of Allianz-Tiriac closed over 1,500 contracts. This individual works in Dolj county and was recruited especially for the pensions campaign. There were several other agents on the market with over 1,000 contracts closed: Aviva's best agent sold 1,700 pensions, Generali's - over 1,400, Interamerican's - almost 1,200, and the ING's - over 1,100.
