The general manager of Pambac, one of the leading players on the milling and bakery market, says the company will hire over 80 people this year, mainly for the sales department. "The decision to increase the sales force is part of the strategy designed and implemented in 2005 and is aimed at restructuring the commercial department and at implementing a market strategy oriented towards developing the brands," says Alin Giurea. The new business strategy was devised together with the consultancy company Roland Berger, Pambac''s general manager specifies. According to Pambac''s general manager, the 50% growth in the number of distributors primarily targets an improvement of financial results. Giurea estimates to see a 31% increase in turnover and a 5% increase in the rate of profit. According to these estimates, Pambac''s turnover will exceed 40 million euros. "The increase in sales will be supported by a 25% bigger marketing budget than in 2005," Alin Giurea specifies. ZF
