Pan Group shareholders discuss new company

Pan Group, one of the top ten players in the milling and bakery industry, will call a general meeting of shareholders in February to discuss the setting up of a new company, Neris Food, operating in the food sector. At the General Meeting, the Board will also discuss setting up secondary headquarters, subsidiaries, agencies, offices or similar unincorporated companies, according to data appeared in the Official Gazette. Company representatives estimated a 25 million-euro turnover for 2006, a 10% increase against the previous year. Pan Group has a 75-store network in Craiova and in Dolj county. The company owns five bread and pastry plants, two of which in Craiova and one in Filiasi, Calafat and Segarcea. Pan Group's competitors on the bakery market are Vel Pitar, Loulis, Boromir and Dobrogea.
