Lawyers of Peli Filip law firm, set up at the beginning of August after a large number of lawyers left the largest firm on the market (Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen - NNDKP), have so far invested up to 500,000 euros in order to start the business. The firm started actual operations from the very first day of functioning as a new, independent team. The firm currently has over 20 lawyers, mainly from NNDKP and Linklaters, as well as young lawyers. The areas of expertise correspond to the specialties of each of the five partners, who have experience with mergers & acquisitions, energy and infrastructure projects, real estate, competition and capital markets. "We know very well what we can do and we don't want to pay for training (in new sectors, i.e.) with the clients' money. We don't want to be market leaders in terms of the size of our team or in terms of revenues, because a firm can grow only as long as it can preserve the quality of its services," believes Francisc Peli, managing partner of Peli Filip, who is also one of the most respected lawyers on the real estate segment.
