Last year, the company acquired a firm in Prundu Bargaului that was undergoing liquidation and, where, according to company management, work on building and rehabilitating an 18,800 square-metre facility started. This project is scheduled for completion in by the end of 2008. "The main purpose of the investment is to boost the company's productivity, which is currently below the level of other EU countries.
