Bucharest-based Remco Romania expects turnover to increase by 30% this year and reach 15m euros, from the company's production and fitting of prefabricated metallic structures and industrial hall design. "We want to reach 20m euros by 2012, with turnover increasing in parallel with the development of the industrial hall market and warehousing space," stated Ciprian Nanu, a development manager for Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova at Remco. In Nanu's opinion, the industrial hall and warehousing market is set to witness considerable growth within the next 5 years, which will be reflected in the evolution of turnover generated by firms designing and fitting these structures. Remco's portfolio is 70% made up of foreign firms that relocated their production facilities to Romania, with the remaining percentage made up of domestic firms. Remco Romania has been on the domestic market since 1996 and is held by Dutch firm, Janssen de Jong Groep, which is present in over 30 countries and generates an annual turnover of 465m euros.
