Renault hires 300 engineers to test future Dacia models in Titu

Renault Technologie Roumanie (RTR), the technical centre ofFrench-held Renault, will hire 300 engineers in Titu next year,where the new Dacia and Renault models are to be tested andvalidated. "We are hiring because the engineering centre in Tituwill start to operate in the course of next year. The Titu centreis set to start operations in the second half of 2010," DanaOpri[an, human resources manager of RTR, told ZF. RTR is one of thefew employers that plan to create new jobs, whilst most companiesfroze recruitment given the unfavourable economic context. Around2,200 employees work in the Bucharest, Pite[ti and Titu centres,with their number to reach 2,500 after the 300 planned recruitmentsplanned occur. According to previous statements from RTR officials,entry-level employees are paid 400 euros per month, but wages varybased on several factors.
