American company TechTeam, which holds the outsourcing and IT service companies TechTeam Akela and TechTeam Global, could open a service centre in Craiova, which would provide services for the car plant recently taken over by the American carmaker Ford. "For us, Craiova is an interesting location, which we are considering for our future expansion. Ford's coming to the area has brought about new opportunities, all the more since TechTeam already has over 400 IT technicians assisting Ford throughout the world. We are talking about 140,000 people using Ford cars in 120 locations and over one million incidents reported per year, which are handled by TechTeam," said Diana Olar, marketing executive of TechTeam. The company already has four centres on the European market, which provide services for Ford in the UK, Sweden, Germany and Belgium.
