Three Aston Martins and one Lamborghini, with a total value ranging between 500,000 and 600,000 euros have already been sold in the second day of the Luxury Car Show. Organisers say that, by the end of the five-day event, at least 10 luxury cars are expected to find homes in Romanian buyers' garages. "Pre-contracts for three Aston Martins and one Lamborghini have already been signed, but around ten cars are expected to be sold over the entire period of the show," says Al Roudhan Bader, the event's organiser. The four luxury cars were bought during the event's second day, which was open to the general public. The first day of the exhibition was dedicated exclusively to VIPs, who were more interested in two cars not present on the Romanian market- the Pagani Zonda Roadster, worth 720,000 euros (one of the ten most expensive cars in the world) and the Koenigsegg CCX, which retails at 650,000 euros. Bader explained that his sales projections are based largely on experience gathered from neighbouring markets, such as the Hungarian market. "The number of cars sold in Budapest in 2006 also numbered around ten, and the market in Bucharest is similar. However, the value of the purchased cars is also important, as there are some cars that exceed 500,000 euros in value by far," added the event's organiser. An advantage offered by the exhibition is that there is no waiting list for purchasing a unique model or limited edition luxury car.
