29.11.2007, 16:27 12

Amplast, which manufactures disposable packaging in Arges county, estimates turnover worth 8.1 million euros this year, against 7.6 million euros last year, an increase that was triggered by packaging supplied for new products, such as Yoplait yoghurt from Tnuva, and Alpine Milk Dessert chocolates from Kraft Foods, according to Catalin Bolbose, legal adviser at Amplast. "This year, we managed to supply packaging for the Yoplait yoghurt from TRD Tnuva Dairies and plastic chocolate trays for Alpine Milk Dessert, a Kraft product," said Catalin Bulbose. The value of investments budgeted for this year amounts to one million euros, for new equipment and to render the company more effective. Currently, the company owns six production facilities, with five already equipped, while the sixth will be finalised soon. From initially just operating one line for processing plastic materials, the company now has 27 such lines.
