Youngest owner in charcuterie industry buys Oltchim assets

Carvil Mizil, a company held and managed by Iustin Paraschiv, one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the meat industry, acquired a poultry farm, a pig farm and a fertiliser production facility from the chemical plant Oltchim Ramnicu Valcea, for 24.4 million RON (6.63 million euros) last week. Among the largest assets managed by Iustin Paraschiv, 26, are the company Ana & Cornel, which produces meat products, Carmistin, which distributes meat products, as well as an over 1,000 hectare-plot. These fetched the young businessman an overall turnover worth 100 million euros, according to ZF estimates, based on the company's growth rate. According to data on Ministry of Finance website, Carmistin posted turnover worth 60.6 million euros in 2006, and profit worth 4.3 million euros, while Ana & Cornel posted turnover worth 38.1 million euros and profit worth 4.7 million euros.
