American company PepsiCo, which holds the Pepsi bottler and StarFoods, the producer of Lay's chips on the Romanian market, has puttogether one management team for the two divisions, with four newexecutives appointed in the last two months.
The changes come as the local Pepsi bottler and the Lay's chipsproducer integrated their Romanian operations after aninternational deal in which PepsiCo took over Pepsi Americas.PepsiCo had held Star Foods since back in 2004 and became the Pepsibottler in Romania in the same year.
As a result, the two divisions have a joint management team, withsome of the managers coming from Star Foods Romania.
"Anda Drilea, the new HR director, was HR director of Star FoodsRomania, prior to the merger (...)," PepsiCo representatives toldZF.
Another manager coming from Star Foods is Michalis Orfanoudakis,former CFO of the chips producer, currently CFO of PepsiCoRomania.
"Starting October, the new marketing director of PepsiCo Romania isManos Spanos, who previously ran the marketing department of PBGGreece, PepsiCo's bottler in Greece," added PepsiCorepresentatives, who also said the company's new Sales Director wasTunc Grencoglu, with 12 years' experience in the American company'sinternational structures.
