Romar group of clinics, with operations on the privatehealthcare services market, opened two clinics that operate on theplatforms Petromidia (Năvodari) and Vega (Ploieşti), refineriesthat are part of Rompetrol group.
Romar projects, bringing 3,400 subscribers, do not follow themarket trend in line with which operators were willing to invest inclinics located in malls and office buildings to secure turnoversas high as possible.
"This year, we opened two clinics for corporate clients, one inNăvodari, on Petromidia platform, and another one in Ploieşti, onVega platform. We also invested in equipment for the existing labsand clinics. The value of investments revolved around 190,000euros," said Liliana Hagicalil, general medical manager of Romargroup.
The group has budgeted 20-25% higher turnover for 2011 from thisyear's 10.5m-euro level. The growth will come on the opening of ahospital outside Bucharest and on the rising number of corporatesubscriptions.
