Romania-based Alpha Rocas, a subsidiary of the British group Alpha Airports, which provides catering services to airline and airport-based companies, witnessed revenue worth 6.8 million pounds sterling (35 million RON) and gross profit of 1.9 million pounds sterling (9.7 million RON) in the January 2005 - January 2006 period, according to the financial report by the UK-based company. Both indicators have been on the rise in comparison to last year, when the company had revenues worth 4.7 million pounds sterling, and a gross profit worth 1.3 million pounds sterling. Alpha Rocas (formerly Abela Rocas), the main catering services provider to Romania's air industry, is headquartered in the Henri Coanda International Airport, provides services during flights and handles the management of the airport's bars.
