22m-euro capital increase for Omniasig

Omniasig SA increased its share capital by 77.428 million RON (22 million euros) at the end of June, to 103.238 million RON, by issuing over 15.4 million shares with a nominal value of 5 RON/share, announced the insurer. Following the move, Vienna Insurance Group (formerly Wiener St?dtische) owns 97.776% of Omniasig shares, after having taken over stakes in this insurer from Arab Insurance German Limassol (57,388 shares), Rivta Handels GmbH (40,771 shares), BCR (80,000 shares) and Financiara SA (1,012,042 shares). The four transfer contracts were closed before the share capital increase was performed, on June 30. The rest of the Omniasig shares are owned by several Romanian individuals - 1.726%, foreign and Romanian legal entities, 0.145% and 0.355% respectively. In the second part of April, Omniasig shareholders decided to increase the company's share capital by 120.01 million RON through a cash contribution by the shareholders.
