30% sales increase for Gregory's restaurants

03.11.2006, 18:48 10

Fast-food restaurant network Gregory's Romania posted a turnover worth 2.43 million euros in the first nine months of this year, an approximately 30% increase against the same time last year. "The advancement in turnover was mainly due to increases in sales derived from already existing locations, but also due in part to the sales from new outlets that were opened late last year," states Cristian Mesaros, general manager of Gregory's Romania. The company currently operates 10 restaurants in Bucharest, opening the latest two outlets at the end of 2005. "No new restaurants are scheduled to open by the end of the year in Bucharest or the rest of the country. In terms of future plans, we will know more by December," said Mesaros. By the end of this year, the company expects to see turnover worth 3.4 million euros, a 20% increase against last year, when it stood at some 2.5 million euros.
