3m-euro shopping centre in Sinaia

The first modern shopping centre in the Prahova Valley will be opened at the end of this year in Sinaia, following an investment of some 3 million euros made by the company Winmarkt. Grand Center Sinaia will be set up on the location of the current Carpati store, with works to be completed in November. The new centre is designed particularly for tourists who visit the resorts in the area. In addition to the stores, the complex will also comprise of a space for leisure activities and a bar with a panoramic view located on the highest floor, which can be reached by means of an external glass elevator. Apart from this project, the company will modernise another three shopping centres it owns in Galati, Vaslui and Ploiesti, with the total investment standing at some 15-16 million euros. Grand Center Ploiesti, for example, will have a constructed surface area of some 50,000 square metres and will include Omnia shopping centre and shopping galleries, which will be linked through a glass passageway. Its customers will also have a two-level parking lot with over 400 spaces at their disposal. In addition to the stores, the centre will also include restaurants, coffee shops, an area for leisure activities and a playground for children. ZF
