Coilprofil, a Belgian tile and sheet metal constructions company, invested 0.7 million euros in a new production line, within its Romanian unit based in Ceptura, Prahova County. The production line is part of an investment plan worth 4.5 million euros the company began last year and will finalise in 2005. "We only had a production line destined to the industrial field, but now we will also produce for the household domain," stated Liviu Mistodinis, Coilprofil SRL general manager. The company makes sheet metal for walls and roofs, constructions or renovation accessories, and its new line has enabled it to also make seamless metallic tiles for roofing. Coilprofil's Ceptura-based factory takes up 12 hectares. Coilprofil registered sales worth 800,000 euros in 2002, its first year in business. For this year, the company targets sales ranging between 1.5 and 2 million euros, with 2004's sales planned to reach 3 million euros. Its H1 sales stood at about 700,000 euros, while profit amounted to 100,000 euros. ZF
