Trust Motors, the general importer of the Peugeot vehicles in Romania, expects total sales of at least 8,000 units for the next year, approximately 300 vehicles more than this year. "Our sales goal for 2004, 6,500 units set early in the year was exceeded, so that we believe we will sell at least 8,000 units next year," stated Trust Motors' communications director Liviana Baduleteanu. Compared with last year when 5,503 units (4,511 cars and 992 utility vehicles) were sold, sales of Peugeot vehicles saw a nearly 40% leap. This year's sales were also boosted by the launch of two special series with more options - Peugeot 206 X-Design and Peugeot 307 X-Line.
