Private health industry managers have been including othercities than Bucharest on their business agenda lately, and Braşov,Cluj and Constanţa are stirring operators' interest.

After having focused on Bucharest in recent years, investingtens of million euros in large facilities and private hospitals, companies on this market are now heading to big cities, where theysay there is unused potential.
Braşov has been in the spotlight, with MedLife and CMU, the mostaggressive operators in terms of expansion, having announcedprojects.
In June 2010, Iaşi saw the opening of the biggest private hospitalin Romania in terms of the number of beds, in the wake ofinvestments worth above 20m euros. So far, the Iaşi investment canbe seen as the biggest outside Bucharest.
Last year, the first obstetrics and gynaecology hospital was openedin Constanţa, while Medcenter opened a clinics and a lab in thesame city.
Besides these, there are Elim clinics in Argeş, Vâlcea andBucharest.
These are the most visible investments outside Bucharest, but thenumber of those operating a business on the private health servicesmarket is probably higher.
