27.07.2007, 19:39 13

Net assets of voluntary private pension funds (the 3rd pillar) have exceeded 50,000 euros, according to an announcement made by BRD-SocGen, the depositary bank of the funds. The reporting date for such assets is July 23, according to the same source. By that deadline, only four funds had collected the first contributions, although another two are prepared and ready to start selling. Out of the four active funds, AZT Moderato (managed by Allianz-Tiriac Pensii Private) has the biggest assets (over 23,000 euros), followed by ING Clasic (managed by ING Asigurari de Viata), Pensia mea (Aviva) and BCR Prudent (BCR Asigurari de Viata). The other two funds ready to start collecting are AZT Vivace and ING Optim, both of which have been recently launched onto the market. Aside from these six funds, another two are currently preparing to launch their voluntary pension products (Raiffeisen Acumulare and OTP Strateg).
